Tattoo Appointment Preparation Guide
Please read carefully before your tattoo session.
1. The Day Before Your Appointment
-
Get a full night’s rest and avoid alcohol or late nights.
-
Have a good meal before your session.
-
One cup of coffee or tea is fine, but avoid multiple cups as caffeine can thin your blood.
2. Skin Preparation (One Week Before)
-
For one week prior, apply Vaseline Dry Skin Moisturizer to the area twice daily (morning and night).
This keeps the skin soft, improves ink absorption, and helps reduce discomfort. -
The night before, gently exfoliate and shave the tattoo area, including a small margin around the design.
After shaving, apply a final layer of moisturizer. -
Do not apply lotion on the day of your appointment.
3. Arrival Guidelines
-
Please arrive a few minutes early so we can prepare, but avoid coming too early.
-
Set your phone to silent mode and minimize distractions for your comfort and others around you.
4. Hygiene and Clothing
-
Shower before your session and wear clean, comfortable clothing.
-
Avoid light-colored or expensive clothes, as tattoo ink may stain permanently.
5. Bringing a Guest
-
You may bring a friend or partner.
They are welcome to wait in the lounge area, but only the client and artist are allowed inside the tattoo room.
6. Payment Information
-
We accept both cash and card payments.
-
Please note that a 10% VAT (sales tax) applies to card transactions.
-
If paying in cash, please visit an ATM before your appointment.

Minimum Charge
-
Our minimum shop charge is $100.
This fee covers all setup and hygiene costs, including needles, inks, tubes, disposables, and sterilization supplies. It also includes barrier protection for chairs and tables, fresh towels, spray bottles, cable covers, and overall studio sanitation management.
In addition, this charge accounts for shop assistant support and artist compensation.
It may seem that $100 is a lot for a small, 5–10 minute tattoo, but we invest a great deal of care and effort to ensure your safety, comfort, and satisfaction are the same — whether you’re getting a tiny love heart on your wrist or a full backpiece dragon.
